Two carabiners, a daisy chain and JoJo.  Waalaa, the first prototype was born.  It looked kind of funny, but it worked ok.  I found it easier to hold the middle of the leash when JoJo would pull.  Onward...   

I then set out to create something that looked like an actual leash.  I found myself relying on a set of skills that I developed in the sixth grade.  Sewing.  Oh yeah, I made a kick ass pair of sweat pants back in 1987.  Wish I still had them.  Not.  So I found out where the local fabric store was and bought some materials.  Five excruciating hours later and I had sewn together a strange looking leash.
