1. Crate train your dog. When the cable guy comes over for example, you want to be able to put your dog away. If you start them early, you can always lean on the crate to safely leave your dog, where they will be comfortable.
2. Potty Box. Absolutely the most important item on the list. We could not do without this. Hopefully you have a balcony where your dog can go in and out freely (doggie door) and relieve themselves anytime. This is NOT a substitute for walking your dog. But if it's early in the morning, late at night, raining or just freezing outside, you don't have to take the dog outside at that very moment. See my setup below. 4. Walk your dog. This goes for every dog in any environment, but especially if you live in an apartment...walk your dog at least once a day.
