I was attending a conference recently where one of the speakers presented his slides with a new tool called Prezi. Typically, everyone uses Microsoft Powerpoint to give talks, myself included. But Powerpoint only allows you to go from slide to slide in a linear, sequential fashion...Prezi on the other hand allows you to tell a story out of sequence by zooming in and out, one part at a time. This allows the audience to see the big picture, literally and then zoom in on the details. It's definitely not a one size fit all tool but has its advantages. You can sign up for free and make as many Prezi presentations as you like, so long you are willing to share them in the "cloud". If you want to use it privately then, of course, you have to pay. Check it out.
